Cambodia Launches Women of the Future Awards Campaign 2025

Women of the Future Awards

Recognising the region’s changemakers

Cambodia has officially launched its nomination campaign for the Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia 2025, celebrating women who are redefining leadership and innovation across the region. Now entering its eighth year, the awards honor exceptional individuals making an impact in business, social development, education, science, and beyond — with Cambodia once again playing an active role in spotlighting local female talent.

The initiative aims to amplify women’s voices and stories from across ASEAN, offering a platform for those who are shaping industries and communities alike. Nominations are open to women aged 35 and under, across multiple categories including Business, Social Impact, Education, STEM, and Arts & Culture.

A platform for Cambodia’s emerging leaders

Cambodia’s involvement in the Women of the Future Awards has grown steadily, with previous Cambodian nominees and winners gaining regional recognition for their work in entrepreneurship, education, and community development.

“Cambodia is full of young women who are redefining what success looks like — not just for themselves, but for their communities,” said a spokesperson for the campaign. “This initiative helps shine a light on those stories and connects them with others across Southeast Asia who share the same spirit of progress.”

Beyond recognition

More than just an awards program, the Women of the Future network has become a global movement that connects leaders, mentors, and rising professionals across borders. The initiative partners with the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) and is supported by regional organizations, corporations, and embassies dedicated to advancing gender equality and sustainable growth.

Why it matters for Cambodia

With the Kingdom’s continued investment in education, entrepreneurship, and innovation, initiatives like this align with its growing focus on gender inclusion and leadership development. As Cambodia’s economy diversifies, more women are stepping into leadership roles across technology, media, finance, and sustainability — setting new standards for what’s possible.

For those living or working in Cambodia, the awards also serve as an invitation to get involved — by nominating inspiring women, attending events, or supporting organizations that champion inclusion.

Nominations for the Women of the Future Awards Southeast Asia 2025 are open until the end of August. The ceremony will take place in early 2026, bringing together outstanding women from across the region for a night of recognition, inspiration, and collaboration.
