Atelier 464 Brings Siem Reap Craftsmanship to Phnom Penh

Phnom Penh continues to see more independent Cambodian brands stepping into the capital, and Atelier 464 is one of the more interesting additions. Rather than a single label, the space brings together four Siem Reap-based creators under one roof, each with a distinct focus but a shared philosophy around quality, ethics, and design.
Who’s Behind Atelier 464?
Atelier 464 is a collective of four “Made in Siem Reap” brands, all independently established and all producing their work in the Kingdom of Wonder’s creative hub.
Kingdom of Wow
Known for cosy handmade wool slippers and relaxed summer espadrilles, Kingdom of Wow focuses on comfort-driven footwear made from natural materials. Each pair is crafted by local women in Siem Reap, reflecting a slow fashion mindset and timeless design approach. The brand is also B Corp Certified, underlining its ethical positioning.
Maison Sirivan
Founded by Sirivan, a Paris-trained designer who returned to Cambodia after graduating from Atelier Chardon Savard, Maison Sirivan blends French design sensibility with contemporary Cambodian fashion. Expect clean silhouettes, breathable natural fabrics such as linen and cotton, and a strong emphasis on precise cuts and finishing. The brand operates its own couture atelier in Siem Reap’s Kandal Village.
Morowood
Morowood specialises in custom furniture and interior solutions, working across residential and commercial projects. From kitchens and wardrobes to full interior fit-outs, the brand combines European precision with Cambodian craftsmanship, often using renewable or repurposed wood. Durability is central, with pieces backed by a 10-year warranty.
Tamara Venn
Artist Tamara Venn’s work brings a vibrant visual layer to the collective. Her richly coloured paintings draw inspiration from Cambodia’s landscapes, wildlife, and communities. Alongside original works, visitors can find prints and postcards, making the art accessible for collectors and casual buyers alike.
What Is Atelier 464?
The concept is closer to a lifestyle department store than a traditional boutique. Fashion, footwear, art, and interior design sit side by side, creating a space where visitors naturally move between different creative worlds.
The layout also allows for rotating guest features. Dedicated “corners” within the store provide flexibility to host complementary creators. One of the first upcoming additions will showcase jewellery from Mary Marchesi of Gems & Design, expanding the lifestyle mix further.

When Can You Visit?
The Grand Opening is set for Sunday, March 1st, marking the official launch of the space.
Visitors can expect a relaxed opening-day atmosphere, including a raffle and a photography showcase featuring Adam Roberts (Wild Photographer). Following the launch, Atelier 464 will operate seven days a week:
- Weekdays: 8 am to 7 pm
- Weekends: From 10 am
Why This Collective Works
All four brands share a common identity: their products are designed and produced in Siem Reap. Atelier 464 was created to offer Phnom Penh residents and visitors direct access to this craftsmanship without needing to travel north.
The collaborative model also benefits customers. Someone browsing for footwear may discover tailoring. A visitor interested in furniture may encounter contemporary Cambodian art. The crossover creates a fuller lifestyle experience than a single-brand store typically offers.

Where to Find It
Atelier 464 is located at:
31b, Street 464
Tuol Tom Poung, Phnom Penh
The Tuol Tom Poung area, often associated with the Russian Market district, has increasingly become a home for independent retailers, cafés, and creative ventures, making it a natural fit for the concept.
How the Brands Connect
While each brand maintains its own production base in Siem Reap, the Phnom Penh space reflects shared values:
- Slow fashion and craftsmanship
- Ethical and community-driven production
- Environmental awareness
- Long-term product durability
Atelier 464 is less about a single aesthetic and more about a collective commitment to thoughtful design and responsible creation.
For Phnom Penh shoppers seeking something beyond mass retail, the space offers a straightforward way to engage with Cambodia’s independent creative scene.
