Canon EOS R6 Mark III Launch Brings Cambodia’s Photography Community Together
Cambodia’s photography scene continues to grow — not just in size, but in confidence. On 7 February, that momentum comes into focus with the launch of the Canon EOS R6 Mark III, presented by Mekong Link, the authorised agent appointed by Cemtes, at the PCGT Center.
Rather than a traditional product launch, the event is positioned as a gathering for the creative community — bringing together photographers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers working across commercial, documentary, and artistic fields in Cambodia. It reflects a broader shift within the local industry, where conversation, collaboration, and shared experience are becoming just as important as equipment.

Photography in Cambodia now plays a visible role in fashion, culture, media, and social storytelling. The EOS R6 Mark III launch acknowledges that reality by placing people at the heart of the programme — highlighting voices who are actively contributing to the country’s visual culture.

• Miller (Miller Snap), known for his contemporary style and strong connection with emerging photographers.
• Shunsuke Miyatake, co-founder of the Phnom Penh Photo Collective, highlighting the importance of collaboration and shared creative spaces.
• Jerry Cambodia, founder of Brabchom, offering a storytelling-led perspective rooted in culture and social context.
More Than a Camera Launch
While the EOS R6 Mark III represents Canon’s latest imaging technology, the event itself focuses on something broader: supporting the growth of photography as both a profession and creative practice in Cambodia.
