Laser Tag Arrives in Siem Reap: A New Adventure for Families, Friends, and Teams

Insert your text hereWhen Stephane, his wife Emilie and their best friend Antoine visited Cambodia in September 2025, they weren’t just looking for a new destination. They were looking for a new beginning.

“We came to visit Cambodia in September 2025 for two weeks with my wife and our best friend, with the desire to build something new for the Cambodians,” Stephane said. “We had decided to leave New Caledonia, where we were living, following the riots of May 2024. After visiting Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Kampot, and Kep, we fell in love with Siem Reap and decided to settle there. The Laser Tag project was born from the fact that we had practiced this sport in New Caledonia, and there wasn’t one in Cambodia. It’s such a fun sport that we wanted to introduce it to the Cambodian population. We arrived at the end of November 2024.”

A Sport Disguised as Play

“Laser tag is a sporting activity, because there are laser tag leagues around the world. This activity is excellent for sports training while having fun. It develops team spirit, fair play, coordination, spatial awareness, strategy, and solidarity,” Stephane explained.

“It’s an activity that also helps build self-confidence, as training improves accuracy, communication (verbal and using silent signs to avoid detection), team spirit, and solidarity. Playing indoors in an air-conditioned environment is perfect regardless of the weather.”

According to Stephane, “Laser tag is therefore a complete leisure activity, perfect for playing with friends and family, for birthdays, team building events, and many other unforgettable celebrations.”

Joy, Energy, and Memorable Moments

“What makes us happy is seeing the wonder, joy, and happiness on our customers’ faces when they leave the gaming arena,” Stephane shared. “We hope they will remember the joy that this activity provides, where you can play both individually and in teams. But also all the benefits mentioned above.”

“And above all, Laser Tag can be reminiscent of certain video games, and it is so much more fun to come and have fun with friends or family at Laser Tag than in front of a screen. Furthermore, after a game of Laser Tag, we assure you that all players, without exception, spend hours talking about their experience.”

One of the Largest Arenas in Asia

“We are lucky to have found a location in the heart of Siem Reap, near Pub Street. The gaming arena is 680m², which according to our research makes it one of the largest in Asia!” Stephane said proudly.

“When you enter the air-conditioned preparation room, you find yourself in a rather dark atmosphere under purple lights and with a screen that will display the scores at the end of the game. Our staff is there to explain the rules and equip the players eager to enter the air-conditioned arena. All the equipment has been developed by us and with our supplier for a most unforgettable experience.

Once you enter the arena for 20 minutes of play, you will discover an atmosphere with fluorescent decorations with music worthy of nightclubs, light shows and smoke machines for total immersion.”

Designed for Everyone

“I think our distinction lies in our novelty, the size of the arena, the quality of the equipment, the fact that we have air conditioning for this sporting activity, and the fact that we cater to a wide audience,” Stephane explained. “We have several Laser Tag game modes and several scenarios, including one that incorporates the use of magnetic cards that can be scanned directly on the equipment, allowing you to change equipment and recharge your life… just like in a video game! And that’s not all; we also propose darts games, PS5 and Nintendo Switch video games, and karaoke on demand in the public reception area to while away the hours before playing Laser Tag. We also have special Laser Tag equipment for children under 1.30m who can use the same arena. Children over 1.30m use adult equipment. We have a height gauge before entering the preparation room. We’re planning some fun new features in the coming months!”

Creating Community Through Play

“Indeed, we welcome people for birthday parties (we take the opportunity to put balloons everywhere!), school trips, team building, outings to reward students… If we had to talk about a memorable moment, we must mention an entire afternoon spent with students and their teachers for their school trip,” Stephane recalled.

“They played Laser Game in a truly exceptional spirit of mutual aid and fair play, they sang with boundless energy and by dedicating one of their songs to us, they sang the wedding song with my wife without knowing it! An intense moment of positive emotions guaranteed! At the end we explained it to them and we all shared this emotion. It was a magical moment that we will remember forever!”

A Fresh Way to Have Fun in Siem Reap

Stephane’s Laser Tag Siem Reap is quickly becoming one of the city’s most exciting new attractions. With its huge arena, creative game modes, and family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a place that brings people together and adds something new to Siem Reap’s growing entertainment scene.
