Acoustic Battle Returns: A New Stage for Cambodia’s Hidden Talent 🎤
After a successful launch in July and an exciting second edition in August, Acoustic Battle is back with Round 3 on September 25, 2025, bringing more fresh talent and soulful performances to a new venue: Hometown Hangout in TTP.
More Than Just a Singing Contest
Designed to spotlight Cambodia’s emerging singers and songwriters, Acoustic Battle offers a fresh twist on the traditional music competition. This monthly event challenges artists not only to sing, but also to perform original music, blending creativity, stage presence, and authenticity in an intimate, unplugged setting.
The competition isn’t just about having a great voice, it’s about being a true artist with songwriting talent and a unique story to share.

How It Works
Each month, a new lineup of performers takes the stage at a different venue. Winners are selected through a 50/50 split between audience votes and a panel of three judges, ensuring a fair and exciting mix of public opinion and professional critique.
The entry is just $2.50, and that includes one drink and one vote to support your favorite performer. You want more votes? Every additional drink you buy equals one more vote (1 drink = 1 vote).
Second edition judges: Vart Van, Arianna, and the Japanese duo, Cambodia SoundBase.
What’s at Stake?
Winners don’t just walk away with applause, they earn:
- A professional recording session at One Two Music
- A paid gig at that month’s competition venue
- A guaranteed spot in the Grand Championship this January, where monthly winners will battle for the title of Acoustic Battle Grand Champion, and a shot at the grand prize
This Month’s Venue: Hometown Hangout (TTP)
Acoustic Battle moves to a new venue each month, and this third edition is happening at Hometown Hangout.. Known for its cozy vibe, refreshing drinks, and a community of local creatives, Hometown Hangout in Toul Tom Poung is the perfect setting for this month’s battle. Its welcoming atmosphere allows performers to connect directly with music lovers and share their stories in an up-close, personal way.
